Dr. Jamey Chang, DMD
Dr. Jamey Chang, began her higher education at Georgia Tech where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering in 1994. After four years, Dr. Chang decided to pursue a Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) from the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Chang graduated in 2002, and began practicing pediatric and family dentistry in the Villa Rica and Carrollton, GA, areas.
Once she began practicing, Dr. Chang realized that residents in rural communities did not have easy access to high-quality, comprehensive dental care. Indeed, she observed underprivileged patients neglecting their oral health altogether due to financial instability or lack of transportation to and from dental clinics.
Dr. Chang knew that patients who didn’t visit a Villa Rica dentist regularly often experienced worsening dental and overall health. As a result, she made it her mission to care for the marginalized groups in her community by offering accessible and affordable family dentistry.
With unmatched compassion and expertise, Dr. Chang serves her community by offering comprehensive services in an upbeat and inviting atmosphere. She prioritizes transparency and comfort, which is why she takes the time to educate patients and address all of their questions and concerns before delivering treatment.
Although Dr. Chang has been practicing for over 22 years, she believes that she is never done learning and improving as a dental professional. That’s why she constantly seeks opportunities to continue her education and expertise. Dr. Chang also stays current and informed on the latest dental trends by aligning herself with reputable and trustworthy affiliations and associations, such as:
When she isn’t caring for her cherished patients, Dr. Chang enjoys spending time with her loving family. She and her family love to travel (locally and otherwise!), as well as try new restaurants in the area. Dr. Chang also enjoys spending time outdoors and being active. So, when she isn’t at home reading, you just might be able to find her at one of the local tennis courts getting some exercise!
